An Engineered Solution for the Renewable Energy Sector:
This project provided a vital transportation link for the construction of a major wind farm in Liaoning Province. The primary challenge was to create an access route capable of supporting the immense weight of wind turbine components—such as nacelles, tower sections, and blades—which far exceed the capacity of standard temporary bridges.
Technical Highlights & A Custom-Engineered Design:
Extreme 120-Ton Load Capacity: To handle the massive 120-ton weight of specialized transport vehicles, a custom deck-type, 8-row, single-layer configuration was engineered。 In this robust design, eight parallel lines of Type 321 trusses are arrayed side-by-side directly beneath the roadway, creating a high-density foundation for the 24-meter span.
Steel Pipe Pile Foundations for Soft Soil: The superstructure is supported by a substructure of 630mm diameter spiral steel pipe piers。 This foundation type is ideal for rapid installation in the soft soil conditions commonly found at wind farm sites, providing a deep and stable footing for the heavy loads above.
Wide Carriageway and Heavy-Duty Deck: The bridge features a 6-meter wide carriageway to accommodate oversized transport vehicles。 The surface is composed of specialized heavy-duty deck panels with a maintenance-free design, built to withstand the intense, repeated stress of construction traffic.
