BAILEY
Project: Construction of 10 Bailey Bridges in the Republic of Guinea
Project Background:
This was a significant public welfare project initiated by the Guinean government to improve national infrastructure, particularly connectivity in remote rural areas. Located in the Macenta region, many river crossings lacked permanent bridges, severely hindering travel, trade, and economic development between communities. Our role was to supply and provide technical guidance for the installation of 10 permanent steel bridges at various sites.

Bridge Solution & Highlights:
Project Scale: This was not a single-bridge contract but a comprehensive package covering 10 individual bridges. This required our company to demonstrate strong capabilities in production, logistics coordination, and multi-site project management.
Structural Design: As seen in the photos, the bridges utilize permanent concrete abutments and piers, topped with a modular steel truss superstructure (Bailey-type bridge). This semi-permanent design combines the stability and durability of traditional civil works with the rapid construction advantage of steel bridges, making it an ideal solution for the practical conditions in Africa.
Social Impact: The bridges were progressively completed around May 2018, leading to a dramatic improvement in local transportation. The images of joyful local residents celebrating on a completed bridge vividly capture the positive impact on their daily lives. These bridges have made travel safer and more convenient for children attending school, villagers accessing medical care, and farmers transporting their products to market.
Project Significance:
This project is a powerful demonstration of our company's comprehensive ability to execute large-scale, multi-site, international projects. It shows that we are more than just a product supplier; we are a partner capable of providing one-stop bridging solutions—from design, manufacturing, and logistics to on-site installation guidance—tailored to meet the specific needs and conditions of different countries.
