Design vs. Actual Implementation:
Original Design: Two independent 39.624m single-span bridges utilizing a Triple-Row Single-Layer Reinforced (TSR) configuration.
Optimized On-Site Solution: To better accommodate the actual topographical constraints during installation, the structure was swiftly adapted into a continuous three-span bridge. The final layout consists of a 27.432m span (9 bays) + 36.576m span (12 bays) + 27.432m span (9 bays), utilizing a Double-Row Single-Layer Reinforced (DSR) configuration.
Key Highlights:
High Versatility: The seamless transition from the original TSR single-span design to a multi-span DSR layout highlights the structural flexibility of the CB200 Bailey Bridge, allowing for rapid on-site design modifications.
Maximum Durability: The entire bridge structure underwent hot-dip galvanization, providing superior anti-corrosion performance and ensuring a prolonged service life, even in harsh tropical climates.
Efficient Erection: Assembled and launched by trained, skilled personnel, the installation was highly efficient. The bridge is now fully operational and smoothly opened to traffic.
