Project: 100-meter Type-200 Steel Bridge in Thika, Kenya

Project Background:

This bridge is located in Thika, a major industrial town near Kenya's capital, Nairobi. As is evident from the photograph, Kenyan military personnel are conducting the inauguration ceremony, which indicates this was a significant project led or utilized by the armed forces. Bridge Model & Specs: The project utilized our Type-200 steel bridge system (the C200 Bailey bridge), achieving a remarkable total length of 100.584 meters (approximately 330 feet). This is a considerable span, showcasing the capability of the Type-200 system to cross wide obstacles without the need for intermediate piers.
