A Comprehensive Bridging Solution for Major Civil Works:
This project required a large-scale, semi-permanent access bridge to support a major waterway channel improvement initiative on Nanjing's historic Qinhuai River. The structure needed to facilitate the transport of heavy construction vehicles, equipment, and materials across the wide river channel.
Engineering Highlights & Integrated Design:
Complete Turnkey System: We delivered a holistic, turnkey solution comprising not only the bridge superstructure but also custom-engineered steel pipe piers. The substructure, built from robust 630mm diameter, 10mm wall thickness steel pipes, provided a stable, rapidly installed, and reusable foundation for the bridge.
Large-Scale, Multi-Span Crossing:
Achieving a total length of 108 meters, the bridge consists of five uniform 21.6-meter spans, showcasing our capability in executing long-distance temporary or semi-permanent crossings for major civil projects.
Robust and Reliable Superstructure: The bridge deck utilizes the classic Type 321 Double-Row, Single-Layer, Reinforced (DSR) configuration. This provides a 4-meter-wide clear carriageway rated for a 40-ton load capacity, sufficient for all anticipated construction traffic.
Enhanced Safety Features: To ensure the safety of on-site personnel, the bridge was equipped with integrated pedestrian guardrail netting and safety curbs, making it suitable for mixed vehicle and foot traffic.
