Delivering Maximum Strength for a Critical Long-Span Crossing:
Located in the scenic, mountainous region of Tekes County, Xinjiang, this project required an exceptionally robust single-span bridge. The objective was to establish a vital, 48-meter-long crossing capable of supporting heavy highway traffic without the use of intermediate piers.
Engineering Highlights & High-Performance Solution:
Maximum-Strength TDR Configuration: To achieve the required load capacity over a significant unsupported span, a Triple-Row, Double-Layer, Reinforced (TDR) configuration was engineered。 This is one of the most powerful assemblies for the Type 321 system, utilizing three lines of trusses on each side, stacked two layers high, to provide immense bending and shear resistance.
Impressive Single-Span Capability:
The inherent strength of the TDR design enables the structure to span the entire 48-meter gap in a single stretch, eliminating the need for costly and difficult in-river pier construction—an ideal solution for challenging river valley terrains.
Certified for Highway Loading: This heavy-duty structure is rated for China's Highway Class-II loads, ensuring it can safely accommodate a wide range of standard highway vehicles as a reliable, semi-permanent traffic link.
Durable and Functional Design: The bridge provides a 4-meter-wide single-lane carriageway. All steel components are protected with a high-performance anticorrosive paint finish to ensure long-term durability against the region's climate of temperature extremes and arid conditions.
A Benchmark for Heavy-Duty Modular Bridging: The Tekes County bridge project is a powerful demonstration of the Type 321 system's capacity to solve long-span, heavy-load challenges. It showcases our ability to deliver high-strength, semi-permanent infrastructure for critical routes in remote and demanding environments.
